Region 5 announces the regional winners of the Donald W. Fogarty International Student Paper Competition. 

 

The region 5 undergraduate student winner is Dustin Schoonecker from St. Cloud State University with “Reverse Logistics.”  The undergraduate second place winner is Andrew Colin Stevens from St. Cloud State University with “Supply Chain and Demand Management of Energy Resources for American Manufacturing.”  The third place winners in the undergraduate category, also from St. Cloud State University are Jessica Sawyer and Ashley Speich with “Price Promotions.”

 

The Region 5 graduate student winner is Dennis D. Leierer of Wichita State University, for “Approaches between Business Process Redesign and Traditional Continuous Improvement.”  The second place graduate student winner is Naveen Mukund Rajan, also of Wichita State University, with “Lean, Agile or Leagile.”  The third place winner in the graduate category is Justin Goodson of the University of Iowa with “Increasing Revenue Collection through Variability Reduction.”

 

Congratulations to our winners.  There were 28 papers submitted this year for Regional judging this year.  The region 5 winners have been submitted for judging in the Donald W. Fogarty International Student Paper Competition. 

 

The Donald W. Fogarty International Student Paper Competition actively encourages the professional development of students interested in the field of resource management. Full-time or part-time undergraduate and graduate students submit original, relevant, and timely research papers on topics related to the field of resource management.
